The commericals/ ads that get my attention are the Orea commericals. This is because one I love oreos and second because I find them interesting. Through the different commericals, you can see that they are not targeting a particular group of people but a variety of different people. Kids and parents, grandparents and grandchildren of all different races. But one thing that gets my attention is that in the majority of the commericals not only are the promoting Oreos but they are also promoting milk. For one thing in some of the commericals they just come out and say “Oreo, milk’s favoirte cookie”. But other times it’s just a person with a glass of milk. In my opinion they advertisement is trying to promote milk as well, because if you think about there really isn’t just a commercial that promotes milk itself. By using Oreo’s they are promoting milk as well. And I can’t help but admitt that they’ve got me to have milk with my Oreos now. I can’t eat them without milk. Another thing I’ve noticed throughout these commercials is the way the people are eating oreos. some of them dunk their oreos in the milk, others twist the oreos and lick the cream and then dunk the cookie part in the milk. Through these commerciacls I kind of get the feeling that this is how one should eat an oreo. I don’t think there is really a correct way to eat your oreos, but I think that by advertising it this way, people are most likely going to eat it this way, because that is what they see. I’ll admit when I first saw  the Oreo commercials I didn’t think anything of this.  All I saw was a person enjoying their oreos and  wanting to have some as well. But as these commercials got popular and started to change, I began to notice that a good majority of the commericals have a person(s) enjoying their oreos with their milk. But even then I didn’t think that the advertisers were trying to do that untill after we talked about advertisement in class. I guess I just never really read into these commercials before, but now I understand that they are trying to produce a certain image that you should always enjoy your oreos with a nice glass of milk.
